Tutorial: How to Upload Multiple Photos at Once!

*BEFORE YOU GET STARTED: Please remember that multiple upload should only be used for images of the same event!*

Welcome to the Sellnews website! In our previous blog titled “How Do I Upload My Newsworthy Content?” we showed how to upload a single photo/video, however, did you know at Sellnews you can upload as many as five images at a time? In this blog, we would like to offer our assistance in doing so. New websites can be confusing the first time you try to navigate through their database, however, here at Sellnews we want to make sure it’s an effortless process! Please follow along with our steps listed below for a start to finish tutorial on how to upload multiple newsworthy images. 😉


Step One:

To begin your upload process, navigate to our homepage at https://www.sellnews.com/

Make sure you are logged into your account! After you are logged into your account you will see the upload button in the upper right-hand side which is circled in the image below. Click on this upload button to begin the process of uploading your content.


Step Two:

After clicking upload you will be brought to this page below. Here, you will have two options on how to upload your content.

Option One: The first option you have is to drag and drop your content into this drop box. You may do this by clicking and holding the mouse over your images and simply drag these images over this box and by unclicking your mouse and your content will begin to upload. (example shown below)

Option Two: The second option you have is to click on upload (circled in red) and you will be able to search through your files through your computer and manually select which images you would like to upload. Once you select your images, the upload process will begin automatically.

Please select “NEXT” (upper right, circled in red)


Step Three:

After clicking the upload button your content will appear as shown below. Next, you will need to input the location of where the content was captured (red arrow). Try to be as accurate as possible! This way if a media agency is looking for an event that took place at a certain location, you can rest assure they will be able to see your posing.

*Please note: When adding a location, this is to be the location where the content was shot at- city/state/country where the event, person, sport, activity was located while shooting. This is not intended for home addresses or where you are physically located while uploading your content.*

Next, the date/time the content was captured may sometimes be populated automatically, however, you will need to input the date and time if it doesn’t automatically populate. If you manually do it, please be as accurate as possible! If not, buyers might not be able to find you if they are looking for an event that took place on a specific date.

After inputting this information, select “NEXT” (red circle)

Follow these same steps for your remaining photos! Then select “DONE” at your final photo.


Step Four:

After selecting “done” you will be brought to the next page. This next page will allow you to add the title to your postings (red arrow). Make sure you add an informative and catchy title! Include the event and/or what the posting includes in the title. After inputting your title, please select next to continue to the next page (red circle).


Step Five:

After adding your title and selecting next you will be brought to this page shown below with your content being shown in the left column of the screen. You will see three places where you will be able to input more in-depth information- media description, media category, and hashtags.

First: Please add a very detailed description, as it will apply to all your content you are uploading. Add as much information as possible in this spot. Adding as much detail regarding your content allows for media agencies and purchasers to have the best understanding of the who, what, when, and what this content is all about!

Second: After the description, select the media category drop down to select one of the pre-populated categories that best suits your content!

Third: Hashtags! Add relevant hashtags that apply to the content you’ve uploading.

Hint: The better the hashtags, the more likely your content is to be found. 😉

Scroll down after you fill out these three sections.


Step Six:

After scrolling down, you will see a list of social media icons and which you can select to share your newly uploaded content with social media channels. By selecting to share with various media channels you will have a higher chance of being discovered by individuals who are looking for your type of content! So, it’s a good idea to share as much as much as possible. Selected channels will change from a color of grey to a light blue, you may deselect by clicking on the icon again, which will make the icon change back to grey.

After selecting media channels, you will need to agree to our Terms of Use to be able to upload your content. (second red arrow) Please read our Terms of Use carefully to have a better understanding of Sellnews and what we are all about!

Once you double check to make sure all the areas are filled out correctly and you are happy with your imputed information, please select “POST” in the upper right hand of this page (red circle shown below) and you will officially have your content uploaded to our site successfully.


Congratulations! You are officially a Sellnews users. Now sit back, relax, and wait for purchasers to find your awesome content. You will be notified when somebody is interested in purchasing.
